Pirates! : The Wreck of the Whydah and Albert Hicks

The History Guy podcast features two stories of Pirates! First the tale of the Whydah Galley, a slave ship turned pirate, and the ill-fated crew that served under "Black Sam" Bellamy. The second story is set in 19th century New York, when a ship is discovered abandoned, with nothing aboard except blood... and a few cut-off fingers.
